BUYING A HOME VERSUS RENTING:

When trying to decide whether to buy a new home or stay in your existing rental, the decisions can be quite daunting.  With the downside in the current economy, many families are thinking about buying, possibly if you are a first time homebuyer, or finally making that commitment and no longer wasting that precious money on the rent every month.  These are not easy decisions and should be weighed very carefully when you are thinking about buying a new home.

In today’s economy if you are able to consider buying it is definitely a buyers market for new home buyers.  Many properties that were for sale have gone way below the value they were built at, and still worth every penny you decide to spend.

Speaking with your Fort Collins Real Estate Agent is a very good way to begin your trial and error process of: should you continue renting or look to purchase?  Your agent can help you find a good lender to get you pre-qualified and then you can begin to match up the differences of pros and cons and what shape your finances will be in with your new existing monthly budget.

Remember there many factors to consider when moving forward and buying a new home or property.  Always keep in mind that the economy will turn around and the value you are buying the real estate for now will certainly improve with years of paying off that mortgage, leaving you in a very nice position with equity in your newly purchased home.
